The Augusto Manalo Tumor Conference of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of the Philippines is being conducted to provide a multidisciplinary platform for the discussion of complex gynecologic oncology cases, current treatment approaches, and evidence-based management strategies. The conference gathered gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, residents, fellows, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with gynecologic malignancies.

The activity emphasized collaborative decision-making, updated clinical guidelines, and individualized patient-centered care in the management of cancers affecting the female reproductive system, including cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, and gestational trophoblastic diseases.

The main objectives of the tumor conference were to:

1. Discuss challenging and interesting gynecologic oncology cases.
2. Review diagnostic findings, including imaging, histopathology, and laboratory results.
3. Formulate appropriate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
4. Update participants on current standards and guidelines in gynecologic cancer care.
5. Encourage professional collaboration among specialists involved in cancer management.
6. Improve patient outcomes through evidence-based and individualized treatment strategies.

The case for discussion was presented by members of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of the Philippines and attended by its members and invited specialists and fellows in training. The multidisciplinary nature of the conference allowed for comprehensive discussions from different clinical perspectives. The cases presented focused on various gynecologic malignancies. The discussions involved careful evaluation of disease stage, patient condition, available treatment options, and possible complications.
